Developed at a cost of over AED 738 million, the project features 242 residential villas

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has inaugurated the Al Samha Housing Project in Abu Dhabi, a landmark residential development valued at over AED 738 million. Spanning 50 hectares, the project features 242 fully serviced residential villas designed to strengthen family stability and enhance the quality of life of citizens.
During the inauguration ceremony, His Highness highlighted the project’s unique design and other features, including comprehensive infrastructure components, landscaped gardens and a range of amenities. It also encompasses a mosque, two commercial complexes, 38 retail outlets, 33 public parks with green, recreational spaces and a 3-kilometre cycling track. Each villa has a plot size of 1,080 square meters and a total constructed area of 505 square meters.
His Highness commended the project development efforts, underscoring the commitment of Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) and the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) to upholding the highest standards of quality and sustainability across all aspects.
H.H. Sheikh Khaled Al Nahyan also stated that the project aligns with the wise leadership’s vision to develop integrated residential communities that meet citizens’ needs while enhancing their overall well-being and quality of life. His Highness further highlighted the need for sustained innovation-driven efforts to develop exemplary projects that can enhance community prosperity and drive comprehensive development across Abu Dhabi.
During the event, His Excellency Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of ADHA, stated: “The Al Samha Housing Project reflects our steadfast commitment to creating modern, fully integrated communities that provide residents with world-class housing options. Furthermore, it aligns with the wise leadership’s vision to ensure that every citizen has access to suitable housing that promotes family stability and enhances overall well-being.”
His Excellency added: “This project is an exemplary model of the developments implemented across Abu Dhabi as part of ADHA’s extensive portfolio. It reflects our ongoing efforts to build a sustainable housing ecosystem that enriches citizens’ lives and supports the emirate’s broader urban and social development.”
His Excellency Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of ADHA, said: “Al Samha Housing Project is a key milestone in our broader mission to develop residential communities that meet citizens’ needs. We have meticulously designed it, considering Emirati families’ requirements with regard to space, layout, and community facilities.”
