Abu Dhabi

The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority has announced the start of the allocating housing units across a few residential projects, following the success of the “Expression of Interest” service, which aims to enhance family cohesion and strengthen community bonds. A total of more than 13,649 citizens has expressed interest in the housing projects offered through the service.

The Authority clarified that the 2026 allocation housing units plan includes seven residential projects distributed across the Abu Dhabi City, Al Ain Region, and Al Dhafra Region. Allocation has already commenced for the Yas Canal project, while the West Bani Yas and Al Dhaher projects are scheduled for allocation in June. The Al Naifa and Al Sila projects will follow in July, in addition to the Al Metlaa project in September, and the Al Amerah project in October. Allocation for the remaining projects will be completed during 2027.

The Authority emphasized the importance of verifying financial eligibility prior to completing booking procedures, ensuring the selection of suitable housing units in line with family needs and financial capacity.

It also noted that all proposed projects include housing units within the housing loan value of AED 1.75 million. In cases where beneficiaries of a housing purchase loan or deferred payment housing loan opt for a unit exceeding the loan value, the difference must be paid at the time of booking via bank transfer, cash payment, or through additional mortgage financing for eligible applicants.
