Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) will launch Expression of Interest starting from January 23, 2026, enabling eligible citizens to select preferred residential projects that best suit their needs in Abu Dhabi City and Al Dhafra region.

ADHA explained that after eligible citizens receive SMS notification confirming the activation of Expression of Interest service, they can access “Iskan Abu Dhabi” application and select the most suitable project within a maximum period of one month from the date of receiving the notification, through “Expression of Interest” service on the home page, where citizens can review available projects, select the most suitable option, and confirm their choice by signing the declaration and undertaking using UAE Pass. ADHA advises citizens to reset their UAE Pass password prior to starting the process to ensure a smooth and secure experience.

ADHA noted that changing the selected project is permitted only once after confirming the selection, which requires applicants to carefully consider their decision and coordinate with relatives to ensure the selection of adjacent units within the same project where possible

ADHA asserted that the selection of specific housing units and the completion of purchase procedures on the map will take place at a later stage, following the finalisation of project layouts and designs. Citizens will be notified well in advance before this phase begins.

ADHA outlined that the opening of Expression of Interest is subject to unit availability in each project. Once all units in a particular project are selected, the ‘Iskan Abu Dhabi’ application will display a ‘Fully Reserved’ notification, prompting applicants to consider alternative options.

Available projects in Abu Dhabi include both government-led projects and private-sector partnership development projects designed to meet a range of housing needs. Government-led projects include Al Nahdah Housing Project, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2028; the West Baniyas Housing Project, scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2027; the Al Sadr Housing Project, expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2028; the Al Haffar Housing Project, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2029; and the North Al Bahyah Housing Project, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2028. These projects are open to all eligible applicants and offer a diverse selection of housing options to meet citizens’ varied needs.

In the Al Dhafra region, ADHA is delivering the Al Sila'a Residential City Project, expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027, alongside the Madinat Zayed Housing Project, scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of this year.

Private-sector development projects include the Yas Canal Residential Project, expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2028; the Abu Mreikhah Housing Project, expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2030; and the Al Shahamah Housing Project, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2029. These projects are available to applicants under both the housing purchase loan and the deferred-payment housing purchase loan.

Together, these projects offer over 18 thousand housing units featuring a range of designs and layouts, thoughtfully developed to meet citizens’ aspirations within integrated and sustainable residential communities. This reflects ADHA’s commitment to enhancing quality of life by providing suitable housing and balanced social environments.
