Following the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, to allowing the transfer of housing grants as gifts among citizens, between spouses and first-degree relatives, the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority clarified that it is working with the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department and the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC) to establish a regulatory framework for implementing these directives. This initiative aims to enhance social stability, promote proximity and cohabitation among Emirati families, and address the social challenges of grants with shared ownership to ensure family stability.
The conditions and guidelines for implementing this service will be announced during December. The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department will be responsible for receiving applications from citizens, while implementation will be carried out through the Abu Dhabi Real Estate Centre (ADREC).
